Parks Proclamation, Witness History Neglected [Indonesia]

Eroded due time, now is like the Garden of the Proclamation of the field to play soccer for the kids. Parks in Central Jakarta is a witness to history that has been forgotten. Let's re-visit this historic monument!

For so long admired figure of Bung Karno, the father of the proclaimer of this country. Flashback to the Tomb of Bung Karno, a mouthpiece for the people in Blitar any I have ever been done when the Java-Bali touring with the family. All of a sudden feeling of nationalism poses a desire to explore the location of the reading of the text of the proclamation on August 17, 1945. Already a quarter of a century I was living in Jakarta and became an Indonesian citizen, but I have not even come to the most historic moment for the nation of Indonesia.

Historically, the independence of Indonesia originated from the process of formulating the text of the proclamation at home Rear Admiral Maeda, now at Jln. Imam Bonjol, No.1. The process of drafting the proclamation was made on August 16 until dawn on August 17.

Furthermore, Sukarno, Hatta and Ahmad Soebardjo formulating the text of the proclamation that would be typed by this Melik Sayuti. Not to forget the mother Fatmawati, the wife of Bung Karno, when it was given the task of sewing the Saka Red and White, which until now kept in the Museum National Monument.

Initially, the fighters scheduled a proclamation declaring the location of the day (17.08.1945) in the Field Ikada, abbreviation of Athletics Association of NSW which has changed its name to Merdeka Square. However, for security reasons the historic procession was held at the residence of Sukarno, who was then in Jln. Pegangsaan East, No. 56, and now turned into Jln. Proclamation, No. 1.

Finally, at this location membacaan Sukarno's proclamation at 10:00 am. In the midst of a tense and full of threats from the Japanese side, with a very simple event. Even the recognition of Bung Karno in the work of Cindy Adams autobiography, entitled "Tongue Connector People", a pen used for signing the text was just a regular pen and then disappear because they do not specifically recorded.

Proclamation of the park is located not far from the junction Megaria cinema complex, formerly the Metropole and the University of Bung Karno who are after Cikini Station. Historic house that looked at the photographs of the proclamation, the proclamation was formerly called the House would no longer exist since 1960. Entering the Park Proclamation, visitors are greeted with an atmosphere of green trees that look so beautiful.

Originally, the historic complex will be renovated when Bung Karno moved to the State Palace. Bung Karno himself break ground for construction of the monument is called Lightning monument, a monument which was then called the Monument Proclamation.

Lightning monument, at first glance looks like a symbol of PLN, with high roundness and bearing the lightning on it. On the monument reads, "This is where the Declaration of Independence Indonesia Dibatjakan On August 17, 1945 At 10:00 hrs Morning by Bung Karno and Bung Hatta".

Not far from the monument stands a building lightning that signifies National Development Plan. In addition there is one other monument, the Memorial of the Republic of Indonesia Satoe Tahoen, who stood on August 17, 1946. Small monument has a height of about 3 meters was founded by Joshua Masdani, members of the Association of Women New York without the help of funds from anyone. To appreciate the role of women fighters in the material because it is marble inscribed "For Women Oesaha London".

After 27 years of independence, the Proclamation Monument was inaugurated in 1972 after redevelopment area Proclamation by Governor Ali Sadikin. Eight years later, co-inaugurated President Soeharto Soekarno-Hatta monument that looks magnificent with 17 pillars in the back of the statue of two figures as a symbol of the date of proclamation.

Once eroded by time, the current park area is not unlike the Proclamation of the field to play soccer by the youth who lack an open area. In fact I can not photograph the writing on the bottom floor of Monument Lightning because crowded around the monument used to sell by the citizens.

Is not that great nation is a nation that respects the history and heroes of his nation? Because by knowing the history that we can foster a sense of nationalism to yourself. And, our automated actors who will be history for the future of this nation better.
